Sold this very flash mirror polished Boeing737 fuselage panel for £699 on @etsy yesterday; 'result' you may think? However, the sale came with a very serious sting in the tail c/o Etsy's oh so generous seller fees! So, £699 minus, ....wait for it, ... £185.54 seller fees!!! Pure greed. Part of Etsy's cut was £78.62 for 'Marketing'! This sale was down to pure pot luck; I rarely sell anything on #Etsy and I'm lucky if my items receive more than a handful of views per week. This sale was down to the law of averages not Etsy's brilliant marketing! If I'm paying £78 quid for 'Marketing' then all my items should fly out the door too! Not looking for sympathy, just a fair cut from Etsy. Other selling sites manage to offer fair seller fees so it can be done Etsy. Producing these polished items is the hardest physical slog, inc numerous rounds of power sanding. It really is back breaking filthy work so Etsy's fee here feels like a real kick in the knackers! End result? Cancelling my Etsy account very soon after eight years. Cheers Etsy.

For an aircraft that has flown many millions of miles during its lifetime the surface areas are in generally good condition with very little in the way of blemishes. The quartz clock mechanism is centred onto a pastel #pink acrylic sheet and decorated with Boeing decal, all encased behind the original plane window. Considering both the history of the aircraft coupled with the eye-catching stripped/polished mirror finish this really is a unique talking point aviation piece which would compliment any setting.
