Salvaged from an Airbus A320-214 (tail no. SU-BPV), which flew for Air Cairo, this single window fuselage section has been professionally stripped and polished to a very high standard resulting in a true mirror finish. This aircraft flew many worldwide routes during its lifetime to and from numerous airports including: Dusseldorf (DUS), Hamburg (HAM), Linz (LNZ), Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Salzburg (SZG) etc.
For an aircraft that has flown many millions of miles during its lifetime the surface areas are in generally good condition with very little in the way of blemishes. The quartz clock mechanism is centred onto a purple acrylic sheet (inc Air Cairo/Airbus decals) encased behind the original plane window. The piece is also fitted with a sturdy hanging chain. Considering both the history of the aircraft coupled with the eye-catching stripped/polished mirror finish this really is a unique talking point aviation piece which would compliment any setting.
